Terms and Conditions:

• Bed linen, tea towels and bathmats are provided. Personal towels are not.
• We do not allow pets in any of our accommodation.
• The following are extra to the cost of the cottage : Standard charge for gas and electricity (see price sheet) 
• Fishing £20 per person per week for two rods. These items can be paid for on arrival in cash. (sorry no cheques on arrival )
• We can accommodate small all male parties, but no large groups
• We would ask you to try to bring a maximum of two vehicles as parking space is limited.
• We cannot accept extra guests sleeping on settees etc. please note the maximum number of people accommodated in each cottage or lodge before booking.

The following common sense rules apply to safeguard fish and anglers:

• Barbless hooks; no micro barbs; no pinched barbless or broken off barbs, only genuine barbless hooks.
• No keep nets. No braid, No method feeders. No ground bait or nuts.
• On the main Carp Lake : 10lb minimum line and hooks; Unhooking mats; Carp landing nets; No poles; Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised when fishing.
• No cycling around the lakes or on golf course: cycles can be used on roads and farm fields.
• No bait or tackle to be taken in or around the accommodation. ( a padlocked tackle room with fridges for bait, racks for rods and room for general gear is provided free of charge)
• Fishing is for residents only. 
• Fishing dawn till dusk. 
• No Bivvys or shelters – umbrellas only.
• No radios around the lakes; mobile phones to be used only with consideration for others
• We ask all fishing guests to use Klinik antiseptic (or similar) this is available on site for a £5 deposit.

In the unlikely situation where It may be necessary to accommodate you in an alternative cottage to the one booked, this will be of similar standard or better.

NB - Change to brochure: Stable Cottage now sleeps 3 people: 1 double, and 1 single room.

For the disabled and elderly: there is car parking close to the lakes.

Arrival and Departure Times: Please try to arrive after 2 pm – please advise if you expect to be later than 6pm . We would most appreciate your keeping to the departure time of 10 am so that we have time to get things ready for the next occupants.
